As part of the Independence Day celebrations, the NCC and the Department of Physical Education & Sports are jointly organizing a special screening of the patriotic film Pippa on 15 August from 5:30 PM to 8:30 PM. The movie portrays the courage, sacrifice, and dedication of Indian soldiers during the 1971 Indo-Pak War, inspiring viewers with the values of patriotism, leadership, and national service. This screening aims to provide students with an opportunity to reflect on the nation's history while fostering a sense of unity, responsibility, and respect for the armed forces. Through this engaging cinematic experience, students will gain a deeper appreciation of the sacrifices made for the country's freedom and security.
