Independence Day is a flagship national celebration organized by the National Cadet Corps (NCC), Student Welfare Office, and CHRIST Play School at CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Pune Lavasa Campus.
Dedicated to honoring the spirit of freedom and national integrity, this year’s edition brings together the university community to celebrate the country's rich legacy through patriotic displays, cultural performances, and ceremonial tributes. The event features engaging presentations that encourage students to reflect on the core values of liberty, duty, and civic responsibility while fostering meaningful collaboration across various campus groups and its Scheduled to take place on 15 August 2026 from 9:00 AM onwards at the Quadrangle, Central Block, the gathering unites students, faculty, and young learners in an uplifting morning of national pride and unity.
