The School of Law, CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Pune Lavasa Campus, is organising a Research Colloquium on 10 September 2026, focusing on “Research Progress, Scholarly Engagement and Pathways to Publication.” The colloquium is designed to strengthen the research and publication capabilities of doctoral scholars by providing a structured platform to assess their research progress, identify challenges, and receive expert guidance on advancing their research. The programme will feature an expert session by Dr. Abhilash Aggarwal on “Pathways of Publication: A Guide to Scopus-Indexed Publications,” focusing on journal selection, manuscript preparation, submission processes, peer review, and responsible publication practices. Dr. Swatee Yogesh will lead a session on research, scholarly writing, and emerging trends in legal research, with insights into contemporary and interdisciplinary areas of legal scholarship. The colloquium will also include PhD scholar research-progress presentations, enabling scholars to present their ongoing work, receive constructive feedback, identify research gaps, and develop a clear way forward for the successful completion and publication of their research.
