The Library and Information Center, in collaboration with the Department of English & Cultural Studies and The Readers Club, will organise “Author Meet with Dr. Brenda Coutinho” on 16 September 2026 at the Gazebo, Central Block, as part of the academic year 2026–27. The programme aims to encourage a passion for reading, creative writing, literary expression, and critical engagement with literature.

Dr. Brenda Coutinho, Assistant Professor of English at Government College of Arts, Science, and Commerce, Quepem, Goa, is an accomplished academician, creative writer, and researcher. She will share valuable insights into her writing journey, creative process, literary works, research experiences, and publishing journey. The interactive session will provide students and staff with an opportunity to engage directly with an accomplished author and explore creative possibilities beyond academic learning.

The programme will encourage participants to develop reading and writing interests, express their ideas confidently, and engage meaningfully with literature. It will also strengthen the Library’s role as a space for creativity, dialogue, lifelong learning, and literary engagement.
