The School of Law, CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Pune Lavasa Campus, through the Internship & Placement Committee, is pleased to organise a two-day workshop on 25th–26th September 2026, focusing on the practical dimensions of dispute resolution and legal practice. The workshop will feature distinguished practitioners from Khaitan Legal Associates, providing students with an opportunity to gain valuable insights into contemporary legal practice.

The workshop will be led by Adv. Dhiraj Mhetre, Partner and Head of Dispute Resolution at Khaitan Legal Associates, who has over 15 years of experience in commercial litigation, arbitration, insolvency, and intellectual property. His professional experience spans proceedings before various Tribunals, High Courts, the Supreme Court, and international forums. He was recognised as an Asia Super 50 Disputes Lawyer by Asian Legal Business in 2022.

The session will also feature Adv. Satyasrikant Vutha, Senior Associate at Khaitan Legal Associates, who is part of the firm’s Dispute Resolution and Advisory team. He has advised and represented domestic and international clients in commercial disputes and criminal litigation, with experience before High Courts, National Company Law Tribunals, and District Courts. His practice also includes arbitration and insolvency matters.

The programme is intended to strengthen students’ legal reasoning, communication, analytical abilities, strategic thinking, and overall preparedness for the legal profession.
