Avian Allies, the Bird Watching Club of CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Pune Lavasa Campus, in collaboration with Focus Club, the Photography Club, is organising an early morning Bird Walk for students. The walk will begin at 6:30 AM at the Learning Café, Central Block, and proceed through the Promenade towards the Bridge, offering participants an opportunity to explore the campus through the sights and sounds of its avian life.

The activity aims to encourage students to slow down, observe their surroundings and develop a deeper appreciation for the biodiversity present on campus. Participants will learn to recognise birds through their physical characteristics, calls and behaviours while exploring the habitats in which they are found.

The collaboration with Focus Club brings a creative dimension to the experience, encouraging participants to observe birds not only as species to identify but also as subjects to photograph and document. Through the combination of bird watching, photography and outdoor exploration, the event seeks to foster curiosity, mindful observation, environmental awareness and meaningful engagement with nature.

The Bird Walk is open to students of all experience levels. Participants are encouraged to bring binoculars or cameras if available and join us in discovering the remarkable birdlife that shares our campus.
