Campus to Corporate: Bridging Academic Learning with Professional Excellence Alumni Interaction Session

The transition from university life to the corporate environment represents a significant milestone in a student’s professional journey. While academic programmes provide students with conceptual knowledge and technical competencies, exposure to workplace expectations, organisational culture, professional communication, workplace etiquette and career realities is equally important for successful professional development.
Recognising this need, the Department of Commerce organised an Alumni Interaction Session titled “Campus to Corporate”, designed to bridge the gap between academic learning and workplace readiness. The session provided students with an opportunity to interact with an accomplished alumnus and gain authentic insights into the transition from campus to corporate life.

Raswanth K T, an alumnus of Christ University, Bengaluru, is currently working as an Assistant Credit Manager at IDBI Bank. His professional experience in banking provides valuable exposure to credit management, financial decision-making and the practical application of finance in the workplace.
