As India’s competitive examination landscape continues to evolve, students face the increasingly demanding task of mastering a broad spectrum of general knowledge to stay ahead. The Centre for Competitive Exams at CHRIST (Deemed to be University) addresses this need by hosting the General Knowledge Quiz Competition, a carefully curated event designed to cultivate versatile intellectual competencies among students. Through timed rounds and structured thematic questioning, participants will develop awareness of current affairs, science, history, geography, sports, technology, and other important fields of knowledge relevant to UPSC and other competitive examinations. By participating, students will gain concrete skills in rapid factual retrieval, systematic comprehension, and self-assessment, enabling them to evaluate their readiness and calibrate personalised preparation plans.

The competition will be held on 29 October 2026 from 5:00 PM onwards at the Activity Hub, Central Block. It is open to all departments across the campus, with general knowledge as its base, and will be conducted in two rounds:

Round 1: A preliminary written round for all participating teams.
Round 2: A final oral round for the top six teams from the preliminary round.

Prizes: ₹1,000 for the winning team, ₹500 for the runners-up, and ₹250 for the second runners-up.
