The Centre for Social Action (CSA) at CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Pune Lavasa Campus, is organising an immersive Outbound Training (OBT) camp for its student leaders at the Jnana Prabodhini Velhe Centre. Designed to bridge grassroots community engagement with structured capacity-building, this programme equips student leaders with the essential tools needed to drive impactful rural upliftment and volunteer management.

The curriculum features two transformative sessions conducted by JPLDC: Servant Leadership, which fosters deep empathy and community-centric values rooted in the Indian context, and Superteams, which focuses on building high-trust, collaborative environments that eliminate operational silos and enhance collective accountability. To complement these academic modules, participants will undertake a guided historical trek and excursion to Torna Fort (Prachandagad)—the first fort captured by Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. This outdoor challenge fosters grit, physical endurance, and collaborative problem-solving. By blending intellectual workshops with experiential outdoor immersion, this training camp ensures that CSA student leaders return equipped with the resilience, strategic vision, and teamwork required to lead sustainable community development initiatives with excellence.
