Book Review Competition 2026

The Readers Club, in association with the Library & Information Center, CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Pune Lavasa Campus, is organising the Book Review Competition 2026 on 18 November 2026, from 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM at the Smart Room, Central Block.

The competition aims to promote reading habits, literary appreciation, critical thinking, and communication skills. It is open to students, faculty members, staff, Dasave Public School students, Ashiyana residents, and other interested community members.

Participants will present reviews of selected books before a panel of judges and an audience, sharing their interpretations, analysing key themes, and expressing their perspectives. The event will encourage intellectual exchange, public speaking, and exploration of diverse literary works.

Participants can win cash prizes worth ₹5,000: ₹2,000 for the First Prize, ₹1,500 for the Second Prize, ₹1,000 for the Third Prize, and ₹500 for the Special Jury Award. All participants will receive certificates.

This initiative seeks to foster a vibrant reading culture, inspire lifelong learning, and strengthen community engagement through books.
