Your Goal, Our Design

The Centre for Financial Consultancy and Planning turns classroom finance into hands-on advisory, financial literacy and digital tools for the CHRIST Pune Lavasa community.

The Centre for Financial Consultancy and Planning (CFCP) operates as an academic and professional wing under the School of Commerce, Finance, and Accountancy at CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Pune Lavasa Campus — “The Hub of Analytics”. Established to promote practical financial literacy and advisory services, CFCP serves as a bridge between academic knowledge and real-world financial management, providing opportunities for students to apply theoretical concepts in practical financial contexts.

The Centre caters to individuals who may find it challenging to navigate complex financial landscapes by providing guidance on personal financial planning, tax strategies, and investment decisions. At the same time, it serves as a practical learning laboratory for commerce and finance students, integrating community financial empowerment, student skill development, and professional advisory services.

“Your Goal, Our Design” — combining community financial empowerment, student skill enhancement, and advisory service delivery.

  • StudentsBuilding practical finance skills alongside coursework, from budgeting tools to hands-on advisory practice.
  • Staff & EmployeesUAN/EPF activation, retirement savings awareness, and workplace financial wellness drives.
  • The Wider CommunityConsultancy services on tax filing, budgeting, investment and insurance planning for university stakeholders.

A Centre Built on Practical Learning

Every CFCP initiative serves as an extension of the classroom, providing students with opportunities to apply their academic knowledge in real-world settings. Student volunteers participate in KYC verification drives, contribute to the development and deployment of a personal finance app, and produce a quarterly financial newsletter. These initiatives transform classroom learning into hands-on consultancy experience, while strengthening students’ financial, analytical, technological, and professional skills.

Insights that travel beyond campus

From the daily “Money Minutes” series on LinkedIn to the “The Ledger” e-newsletter and the Wallet View mobile app, CFCP’s digital footprint carries financial literacy well past the Lavasa campus gates.
