It gives us immense pleasure to welcome the second cohort of student interns from Canada to CHRIST University, Bengaluru, under the Shastri Indo-Canadian Institute (SICI) Student Internship Program. Building on the success of the 2024 cohort, this year’s program continues to strengthen our shared commitment to global learning, research collaboration, and cultural exchange between India and Canada.
CHRIST University has always believed in the transformative power of international education. Through this internship, we aspire to offer our visiting students a rich blend of academic immersion, applied research, and community engagement. Over the coming weeks, students will have the opportunity to work alongside our faculty mentors, participate in live projects, interact with local communities, and experience the vibrant culture of India.
The previous cohort left behind inspiring stories — of learning in the classroom, service in rural communities, and unforgettable moments exploring India’s heritage and hospitality. This year, we are confident that our new interns will continue this legacy by bringing their curiosity, creativity, and compassion to every experience.
As hosts, we are delighted to provide a nurturing environment where intellectual exploration meets cultural discovery. The CHRIST community looks forward to learning from you as much as we hope you will learn from us.
We warmly welcome you to the CHRIST family and to the heart of India’s academic and cultural landscape. May this journey be one of insight, inspiration, and intercultural friendship.
