Analytical Business Research Project
A year-long initiative for third-year BBA students, enabling them to undertake research under assigned faculty mentors. Students develop research projects and papers, with opportunities to present their findings at academic conferences and pursue publication.
Research Club and Student Research Support
Promotes student research through faculty guidance, training sessions, and capacity-building programmes in collaboration with the Centre for Research and the Centre for Academic and Professional Support (CAPS). The department also supports student conference participation through registration fee assistance and reimbursement, subject to institutional policies.
Analytics Lab
Supports data cleaning, data preparation, and statistical analysis for student and faculty research. A one-year subscription to SmartPLS enables researchers to undertake advanced statistical modelling, including partial least squares structural equation modelling (PLS-SEM).
Trends in Quantum Computing and Emerging Business Technologies (TQCEBT)
The annual IEEE conference provides a platform for faculty and students to present research and explore emerging business and technological developments. It encourages faculty–student collaboration and offers opportunities for research publication, subject to applicable review and publication requirements.
Student Innovation Council (SIC)
Encourages research, innovation, and original thinking through faculty mentorship. It supports students in developing research papers and exploring intellectual property opportunities, including patents and copyrights.
Research Accelerator Programme
Integrates research into course-based learning through research-led CIAs, implemented in courses such as Taxation Laws and Practices, Strategic Human Resource Management (SHRM), Statistics, and Research Methodology. It helps develop students’ analytical, research, and problem-solving skills through applied academic projects.
