The Christ University Commerce Association (CUCA), under the Department of Commerce, School of Commerce, Finance and Accountancy, CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Pune Lavasa Campus, serves as a vibrant platform for students to explore, learn and grow beyond the classroom. Guided by its vision of ‘Compete, Collaborate and Create’, CUCA aims to enrich knowledge, enhance professional competence, develop life skills and nurture values through a wide range of academic, co-curricular and student-led activities.
The Association organises activities on a regular basis, creating opportunities for students to engage with diverse areas of commerce, finance, management, entrepreneurship, social responsibility and professional development. Through competitions, workshops, discussions, projects and collaborative initiatives, CUCA encourages students to apply classroom learning, develop leadership capabilities and build confidence through experiential learning.
CUCA functions through specialised wings, each contributing to a distinct area of student development:
The communication and publication wing of CUCA, responsible for documenting departmental activities, highlighting student and faculty achievements, and creating engaging academic and professional content.
Focuses on social responsibility, community engagement and initiatives that encourage students to contribute meaningfully to society.
Promotes inclusive student engagement through activities centred on collaboration, participation and holistic development.
A digital video platform and YouTube channel that gives students the opportunity to create, curate and present engaging video-based content, strengthening student-led learning beyond the classroom.
Focuses on financial literacy, consultancy, planning and practical exposure to financial decision-making, enabling students to connect theoretical knowledge with real-world financial applications.
The insurance-focused wing of CUCA that bridges academic learning with industry exposure. It engages students through expert sessions, industry interactions, workshops, professional development activities and insurance literacy initiatives, while fostering leadership, responsibility and industry readiness.
Together, these wings enable CUCA to function as an integrated student platform that promotes academic enrichment, professional exposure, leadership, creativity, collaboration and social responsibility.
