Dr. Amit Seth from the School of Business & Management-BBA, CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Pune Lavasa Campus, has been selected as one of the six faculty members from CHRIST (Deemed to be University) to participate in the NISD Intergenerational Bonding Programme. The Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of India, has sanctioned a grant of ₹15.50 lakh to the University to conduct one-day awareness programmes promoting intergenerational bonding and the welfare of senior citizens. The initiative aims to train 80 students in awareness-generation activities, fostering stronger intergenerational relationships and promoting the well-being of older persons.

Capacity Building Programme for Young Social Science Faculty

Dr. Amit Seth has received a research grant of ₹8 lakh from the Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR), Government of India, to organise a two-week Capacity Building Programme (CBP) for Young Social Science Faculty. Conducted from 9 to 21 June 2025, the programme focused on strengthening teaching competencies through emerging technologies, particularly Artificial Intelligence (AI), business simulations, blended learning, and experiential teaching methodologies. This initiative aimed to equip young social science faculty with innovative pedagogical skills and promote technology-enabled, industry-relevant management education.
