International Visitors & Global Engagements

The Office of International Affairs at CHRIST (Deemed to be) University, Pune Lavasa Campus proudly hosted 56 international visitors from 11 countries during the Academic Year 2025–26. This included 45 distinguished faculty members and 11 students from leading universities and institutions across Europe, North America, Asia, Africa, and South America. These impactful visits strengthened academic collaborations, research partnerships, faculty and student mobility, cultural exchange, and global engagement through initiatives such as International Staff Week, Intensive Programmes, Scholar-in-Residence, academic exchanges, and cultural performances.

CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Pune Lavasa Campus hosted its inaugural International Staff Week, bringing together faculty and staff from partner institutions across the globe. The programme provided a platform for academic exchange, networking, intercultural engagement, and discussions on internationalisation in higher education.

Through stimulating sessions, collaborative workshops, and cultural interactions, participants fostered meaningful collaborations and strengthened global partnerships — laying a strong foundation for the University's growing international footprint.

Dr. Tarnowska and Dr. Bień-Kacała served as Scholars-in-Residence from 2 March to 13 March 2026. Through guest lectures, academic interactions, and collaborative discussions, they contributed significantly to the University's academic and research environment.

Mr. Jiří Mičánek undertook his International Traineeship from 17 March to 18 June 2026, engaging with various academic and administrative units, gaining international professional exposure while contributing to intercultural exchange and institutional collaboration initiatives.

CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Pune Lavasa Campus hosted the VIVES Intensive Programme in collaboration with VIVES University of Applied Sciences, Belgium. The programme brought together students and faculty from diverse academic and cultural backgrounds for an engaging learning experience focused on international collaboration, intercultural exchange, and experiential learning.

Through interactive sessions, group activities, discussions, and cultural engagement opportunities, participants developed global perspectives, enhanced their collaborative skills, and strengthened academic and intercultural connections between the partner institutions.
