Beyond the Classroom
The School of Business and Management (BBA) integrates the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) across its academic, co-curricular, and outreach activities. Every departmental activity is aligned with one or more SDGs, reflecting our commitment to sustainability, social responsibility, and inclusive development. The departmental SDG Cell further strengthens this commitment by organising dedicated awareness initiatives, interactive learning activities, and community outreach programmes that help students understand the SDGs and their relevance to everyday life and business practices. Through these initiatives, the Cell encourages students to become informed, responsible, and active contributors to sustainable development.

The event was organised by the SDG Cell in collaboration with AIESEC and the School of Business and Management-BBA. This international engagement brought students and international delegates together to discuss global leadership, cultural exchange, and sustainable development. The event encouraged cross-cultural understanding and explored the relevance of SDGs 4, 11, and 13.

This outreach was organised in collaboration with the Department of English and Cultural Studies. The outreach session at Dasve Public School used interactive activities, discussions, and a “Fair or Unfair” exercise to address gender stereotypes, equality, and respectful behaviour. The initiative supported SDG 5: Gender Equality, SDG 4: Quality Education, and SDG 10: Reduced Inequalities.

A student-led awareness initiative featuring short presentations and an interactive quiz on the Sustainable Development Goals. The activity introduced students to goals related to poverty reduction, health, education, gender equality, and responsible consumption, connecting global sustainability priorities with everyday actions.
