Agenda

Our progressive agenda of the seminar focuses on addressing the challenges faced by women in leadership roles, particularly in corporate settings, where they work alongside diverse groups of individuals from around the world. It highlights the importance of empowering women and improving their social, economic, and political status for transparent governance and sustainable development. Despite global movements towards democratization, women remain underrepresented in government and decision-making positions worldwide. Traditional working patterns, discriminatory attitudes, and family responsibilities act as barriers to women’s participation in public life. Women’s leadership in community organizations and alternative structures, such as NGOs, has provided avenues for their voices to be heard. Overcoming inequality requires challenging discriminatory attitudes and power dynamics within households.
