About the Event
The session aims to guide students on career planning and professional development, offering valuable insights into building a strong professional profile using platforms like LinkedIn and ePortfolios. The workshop will provide tools and resources to help students navigate job searches and explore interdisciplinary opportunities that align with their interests and career goals. It also promotes networking and self-advocacy, encouraging students to pursue opportunities both inside and outside the classroom. In line with the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 4, the session focuses on ensuring inclusive, equitable education and fostering lifelong learning opportunities. The workshop will take place on 11 October 2024 from 8:30 AM to 10:00 AM in the Smart Room, Management Block. It will be coordinated by Mr. J. John Steward Raj, with Mr. Donnie Harris, Fellow of Oberlin-Shansi, Oberlin OH, as the resource person. This event is targeted at first- and second-year MA English with Digital Humanities students.
