Induction counselling is the final part of the admission process. A briefing is given to parents and students about the University life and culture. The rules and regulations of the University are thoroughly explained, helping students ease into the academic environment and institutional processes.
Students can avail of a personal counselling session by walking into the batch counsellor’s cabin. Students may approach the counsellors for concerns related to self-esteem, time management, anger management, family matters, relationships, addiction, and personal growth. Confidentiality is maintained at all times.
At the beginning of every semester, the batch counsellor generates a report of students who have failed in two or more papers in the preceding End Semester Examinations. The reasons are explored and appropriate academic support is provided. Students are guided with study skills and assisted in preparing structured study schedules.
Attendance monitoring helps identify students who are unable to attend classes regularly due to various reasons. This initiative allows counsellors to proactively reach out and provide support. Students are required to maintain 85% attendance at all times as per University regulations.
The CCHS organizes two parent meetings every academic year — one online and one offline. Parents are informed about new courses, departmental updates, achievements, and institutional developments. These meetings also provide a platform for parents to share feedback and suggestions regarding infrastructure, curriculum, internships, placements, and other academic matters.
