Induction

• Introduce the newly joined students to the system of the University
• Brief about assessment pattern, dress code, discipline, importance of attendance
• Provide information about various centres like CSA, SWO and activities like Darpan, Blossoms

Personal

• One-on-one, online sessions, via Google Meet
• Talk about issues that the students are facing in their personal lives and are overwhelmed with it
• Sessions conducted in a non-judgemental, empathic and confidential manner
• Freedom to express
• Feel free to drop in a mail
• If required, referred to professionals

Students are free to approach the Counselors whenever they so desire. In some cases they are referred to by the teachers.

Attendance Monitoring

• Students with less than 85% are met fortnightly by the counselor.
• The reasons are explored and the students are supported to overcome their difficulties.
• They are further motivated to improve upon their attendance.
• Parents are intimated in case of shortage of attendance.
