The Christ Equestrian Club was officially inaugurated on 26 April at CHRIST University, Pune Lavasa Campus, marking a significant milestone in campus sports culture. The ceremony began with a grand welcome by the NCC Band, followed by an inspiring address from chief guest Mr. Ramachandra Raju (Garuda from KGF), who formally launched the club in collaboration with HEI Horse Riding Academy. The event featured captivating demonstrations in Dressage by young rider Teertha and Six-Bar Show Jumping by Sai Sir, the club’s head instructor, highlighting the elegance and discipline of equestrian sports. Anchored by Sakshi Raut and supported by a dedicated student team, the inauguration reflected the university’s commitment to holistic development, confidence-building, and excellence in sportsmanship.
