The club provides students with opportunities to participate in guided trekking expeditions, nature trails, waterfall explorations and outdoor activities in and around Lavasa.
Beyond adventure, Lavasa Trekkers promotes environmental responsibility, personal well-being, teamwork, leadership and community engagement.

Our long-term vision is to give every student at the Lavasa campus an opportunity to complete at least one official trek before graduation.
We want students to experience Lavasa beyond classrooms and buildings — to walk its trails, discover its waterfalls, climb its hills and experience its natural beauty.

Safety First
Safety is at the centre of every official Lavasa Trekkers activity.
If conditions are considered unsafe, a trek may be modified, postponed, rerouted or cancelled.
Our Principle

Coming back safely is more important.

Lavasa Trekkers believes that exploring nature also means protecting it.

Activities
Over the past year, Lavasa Trekkers has organised a diverse range of trekking expeditions in and around Lavasa.
These have included community-building treks for students and faculty, special treks for guests and international visitors, and challenging adventure treks designed to strengthen resilience, teamwork, confidence, leadership and environmental awareness.
Students get opportunities to discover the hills, trails, forests and waterfalls around Lavasa through guided outdoor experiences.
Outdoor experiences designed to bring students, faculty, guests and members of the University community together.
The club also encourages activities such as:
Theme-based photography and creative activities allow students to capture and share the beauty of Lavasa while encouraging appreciation of nature.
