About the Club

The Global Academic Club is a student-driven initiative dedicated to expanding international academic exposure and global learning opportunities. Working closely with the Office of International Affairs, the club introduces curated summer and winter school programs, exchange opportunities, and global collaborations that enable students to make informed decisions about higher education abroad. By fostering cross-cultural learning and global networking, the club empowers students to broaden their academic horizons and build strong foundations for future academic and professional success.

Objectives

  • International Academic Exposure
    Assist students in applying for summer/winter schools, exchange programs, and global conferences.
  • Global Collaborations
    Work closely with the Office of International Affairs and partner institutions worldwide.
  • Mentorship & Knowledge Sharing
    Host podcasts, sessions, and interactions with international alumni and experts.
  • Academic Pathway Guidance
    Help students identify suitable universities and programs aligned with their goals.

Events Conducted

  1. Podcast Episode 1 – Interaction with Harvard Alumni

An enriching podcast session featuring a Harvard alumnus who shared insights on academic life, cultural experiences, and the admissions process at Harvard University. The session inspired students by bridging aspirations with actionable planning for global education.

  1. Podcast Episode 2 – Harvard Exchange Program Experience

This upcoming episode features Shree Vinati Kare, a third-year law student who participated in the Harvard Exchange Program. The discussion offers a first-hand student perspective on application strategies, academic growth, and global exposure gained through exchange programs.

  1. Inauguration of the Global Academic Club

The club was inaugurated by Dr. Wendy Bignold, an international education expert, who emphasized the importance of global engagement and student-led initiatives.
